Terry
Clark
Terry Clark, originally from New York, began
dancing at the age of three and still continues to study dance through
professional seminars and classes in New York City every summer. This
past summer, while in New York, she had the opportunity to dance with
Liza Minelli.
Terry has extensive experience
as a performer and choreographer in television, live theatre productions
and commercials, along with being a teacher for several national dance
seminars and "Disney on Ice". These accomplishments in addition
to being a published author and finalist in a national poetry competition
continue to produce exciting and rewarding experiences for her. "It's
always a great feeling when I can share the experiences I've had with
my students and help them understand that the same opportunities are available
for them too."
Each year Miss Terry takes
students to several dance seminars featuring the leading dancers and teachers
in each area of dance. Fund raising activities are initiated yearly so
that students can afford to participate in these special events.
The studio's performing companies
are active throughout the year with specialty shows. All students are
invited and encouraged to take part in our May and June nursing home productions
which provide an opportunity for the students to sharpen their dance routines
while bringing pleasure to some very appreciative audiences.
